Yield not to the temptation of pity, self-pity or having pity for another. We’ve all experienced pitiful moments, weeks, months, years or maybe even lifetimes but “Pitiful is the person who is afraid of taking risks. Perhaps this person will never be disappointed or disillusioned; perhaps [he] or she won’t suffer the way people do when they have a dream to follow.” Paulo Coelho.

Life provides us with experiences and challenges that we need, and not necessarily those we desire, to become the very best that we can become, spiritually.

People of every race and every gender have struggles and challenges, strengths and weakness. I’ve come to know that one of my goals or mission, if you will, is to learn what they are for each person in the world that I am creating for myself so that I can make my life more enjoyable and live a heavenly life right here on the physical plane, right now.

Every minute counts. Every minute is an opportunity. An opportunity to develop the divine qualities of Love, compassion, tolerance, patience, forgiveness… Your choice — choose wisely!

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE FOR TODAY: Before reacting to a situation or before you “go off” on somebody today, take a moment, take a deep breath and quietly ask, “Is it kind? Is it true? Is it necessary?” If you cannot answer truly, yes, to any of those questions, then it’s probably best wait until you can.

Those with pure love do all they can to let their mates grow in every way.

Detached love means to let others exist wihout forcing our will upon them. That is spiritual love.

Not to get attached is often taken to mean ‘not to get involved.’ Actually, it means not to let your idea of how things should be dictate the relationship. That kind of love has strings attached and it means always trying to have your partner do what you think is best.
